Examination / Assessment Components
UPES ON shall follow an instructor-led continuous evaluation system. The components of the evaluation system will be as follows:

Internal Assessment
Every course in each semester will include short answer subjective type questions. For Postgraduate programs, most of the questions will be application focused with analysis and numeric orientation.
The main purpose of the internal assessment will be to test students' comprehension and application of subject matter and to help students perform better in the course.
Internal assessment of a particular semester CAN NOT be extended to following semester. Student will be assigned a fresh assignment the following semester depending on the grades the student scores in the end-semester exam.
Following outcomes will arise when student fails to submit internal assessment within deadlines.
- The students is awarded a zero out of 30 for the course
- Then the student will need to get 50 out of 70 in End term exam to just pass the course.
- If the student gets less than 50, then you will have to take the supplementary paper next semester of 100 marks. There will be no internal assessment given in supplementary .
